Highschool

Posted August 20, 2011 with 4 Comments

Well as you’ve probably noticed, I’ve been updating the site less and blogging less lately, but it’s only because about a week ago I started highschool! It’s a big transition for me, and I’ve been buried in homework and all the activities that they have had for us. In fact, just last night was my very first dance! It was awkward in the beginning, but once the music started and everyone started dancing, we all loosened up pretty quickly. :) I was really tired by the end, though. All that dancing and jumping around made me worn out! But all in all it was fun and I made a few new friends!

I really like all my classes, and my teachers aren’t all that bad! Here’s my classes and teachers for you:

Spanish with Mrs. Moran: I’ve always wanted to learn another language, and I’m really excited to learn Spanish. Mrs. Moran seems like a bit of a harsh teacher, but really sweet at the same time!

Biology with Mr. Showers: Biology is okay, I guess. Although Mr. Showers is pretty boring and I fall asleep during his lectures, not gonna lie.

P.E. with Ms. Chrisman: I am so bad at P.E., I can’t even explain. Sports are SO not my thing. And Ms. Chrisman is kinda strange and scary so we’ll see how I do with this class…

Algebra 2 with Mrs. Mangiardi: I really don’t like math that much, but Mrs. Mangiardi seems like a good teacher and I think she will make math easier to understand for me.

Theology with Mr. Shelley: Oh dear. Let’s just say that Mr. Shelley makes Theology… “entertaining”.

Art with Mrs. Nelson: I love art and I love Mrs. Nelson! I can’t wait to learn more in this class, it’s so fun! :)

English with Mrs. Dwyer: Although most people tell me that this entire class will be terrible, I actually really enjoy english class in general and I really like Mrs. Dwyer. :P

That’s it! I hope that I still like all the teachers that have made a good impression on me later in the year… We’ll see I guess. ;)

Congratulations on making it to high school :) ! Your next goal is to fight through it and graduate :P ! But just don’t let high school take a toll on you. Gosh, I feel so old as a senior talking to freshmen XD!

Good luck with all of your classes! It sounds like you have similar classes that I had in my freshmen year! Except that I took French, Health/Life Skills, and.. we just had 6 classes back then :C.

Keep it up :) ! And take care!

Awe yay! My Ronnie is in high-school:) I am glad you are enjoying it so far. So far I don’t really like my new school that much but it isn’t all that bad because every moment I can I am with my MCA friends. Haha:)
MCA Ian having homecoming in a couple weeks so I hope I get asked so I can go.
I have lots to tell you but it is hard on here right now because I am on my moms phone… but we should definitely Skype once I get my internet going again. :)

I’m glad your enjoying high school. :) It’s always a strange but exciting experience.

I hope you enjoy Spanish. It’s a great language, not too difficult. I studied it for 2 years but I can’t really remember much because I had to do German for the next 2 years.

I hated PE too and now I never have to do it again, yay! I was so useless at it, my reports were always bad. At least I tried.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your first year.

I’m glad you’re liking high school! I loved the extra freedom I had when I came to high school, and I met a lot of new people that were awesome. Yay for new friends!

Liking your classes makes high school less horrendous and much more enjoyable, so it’s good to hear that you like your classes! Good luck with keeping your grades up and with the rest of your year. :)
